psychotherapy

for adults

Psychotherapy offers a professional space for addressing psychological distress, crises, and inner conflicts. Within a supportive therapeutic relationship, we work together to understand symptoms, develop new perspectives, and strengthen emotional and psychological stability.

The treatment is based on scientifically psychotherapeutic methods and is individually tailored to your concerns and needs.

Integrative therapy

The procedure

Integrative therapy is a modern, cross-school form of psychotherapy, which in Austria is classified within the humanistic cluster. It pursues a holistic and differential approach and combines verbal and nonverbal methods. Approaches from psychodrama, Gestalt therapy, active psychoanalysis, neuropsychology, body psychotherapy, and behavioral therapy are integrated.

Methods & Techniques

Variety of methods

Dialogue is the cornerstone of our collaborative work. In addition, other methods can be used, such as:

  • Movement

  • Relaxation and breathing exercises

  • Sensation, perception, and mindfulness exercises

  • Imaginations

  • Creative forms of expression such as painting, designing and writing

  • Inclusion of voice and musical expression

  • Working with and in nature

  • Working with symbols and photos

Whether and which of these will be used will be decided jointly in practice and will depend on your interests.

Conditions & Framework

The designation "in training under supervision" means that I am in the final phase of my psychotherapy training and regularly participate in supervision sessions with experienced psychotherapists to guide and supervise my psychotherapeutic work. Consequently, I offer a reduced rate. Billing through health insurance companies is currently not possible. Socially reduced rates are agreed upon individually. Therapy can be conducted in German, English or Dutch .

Introductory meeting (optional)

The introductory meeting is optional, free of charge and lasts 20 minutes.

Before the initial consultation, a short, non-binding information session is possible – in person, by telephone or via video (Zoom).
It provides a space for initial questions, informs you about the process and framework, and helps you find your way around – without any therapeutic content. The
aim is for you to get a sense of whether I am the right person for you, someone with whom you can find a safe space and support for your issues.

Initial consultation

The initial consultation lasts 50 minutes and is the first step in the therapeutic process.

In the initial consultation, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you expect. We will also clarify the setting, frequency of sessions, and answer any questions you may have. This marks the beginning of the therapeutic process. The conversation itself can be relieving and will help you make an informed decision about whether you wish to proceed with therapy.

Duration & Costs

A single psychotherapy session (50 minutes) typically costs €80. The duration of therapy is highly individual and difficult to estimate.

My philosophy in this regard is as follows: as short as possible, as long as necessary. The therapeutic process can range from a few sessions for support during a crisis to long-term support over months or years. A session itself lasts 50 minutes. I offer a limited number of places at a reduced rate for people in difficult financial situations. Please ask about this during your initial consultation.
